John Wright Marsh, Jr.

John Wright Marsh, Jr. 48, of Lake Charles passed away peacefully at 9:45 PM on Friday, October 26, 2018 in his residence.

Mr. Marsh was an avid lover of automobiles and was a handyman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, John Wright Marsh, III of Lake Charles; daughter, Kendall Marsh of Atlanta, GA; brother, Rev. Ralph Palmer Marsh, IV (Laura) of The Woodlands, TX; sisters, Georgia Ann Marsh Elliot (Scott) of Lafayette and Darlene Boyd (Nathaniel) of Atlanta, GA; brother, Jason Disharoon of Atlanta, GA; and step brother, Cory Boudreaux of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn Marsh; father, John Wright Marsh, Sr.; and mother, Nancy Young.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. His brother, Rev. Ralph Palmer Marsh, IV will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2:00 PM and continue until the start of the service.
