Hayes ~ Johnny Roy Poole, born September 8, 1960, son of Elvin and Velma (Hebert) Poole, passed away in a local hospital on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the age of 60.
Johnny enjoyed drawing, painting, fabricating and was a combination hand. He worked as a welder offshore in the oilfield.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elvin Roy Poole, and brother Bryan Poole.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Velma Poole; daughters, Mindy Poole, Jennifer Spraggins; brother, Warren Poole (Jeanette); sister, Renell Hoffpauir (Poncho); grandchildren, Gracie “Taz”, Kierstn “Tornado”, Olivia “Twister”, Mateo “Hurricane”.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 4:30 p.m., Father John Payne, Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
The family request that facial coverings be worn, and no food be brought to the funeral home.
