VINTON- Johnny Lee Vice, Sr. 72, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. He was raised in Vinton, living most of his life there and he retired from the Town of Vinton. Johnny loved shrimping, hunting, spending time with his family and simply living life to the fullest.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Mary O’Quinn Vice; six children, Denice Duncan of Watson, LA, Traci Travis(Timmy) of Ethel, LA, Johnny Lee Vice, Jr.(Danyell) of St. Francisville, Todd Vice (Angie) of St. Francisville, Magen Conner (Colby) of Vinton, and Patrick Vice (Callie) of Vinton; grandchildren, Brandon & Valon Duncan, Gavin Travis, Trevor & Emily Vice, Breanna Vice, Bryce & Jace Vice; two great grandchildren and one more on the way; brothers, Ozema Vice of Vinton and Bobby Vice (Barbara) of Henderson, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (Adam) Pruett and “Jay” Vice; sister, Nelda Sonier; and brother, Billy Ray Vice.
Funeral Services will be 10am Saturday, November 26th in Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church, 1100 Horridge St, Vinton, LA 70668, under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Templeton will officiate. Visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 5pm -8 pm and resume Saturday at 9am until time of service.Visits: 3
