Johnny Ray Moreno, Jr., born in Phoenix, AZ on October 1, 1935, son of the late Johnny Ray Moreno, Sr. and Ruth Cardozza, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the age of 86.
Johnny proudly served his country in the U. S. Army for three years. He worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, cooking, and watching football.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, and son, J.R. Moreno, III.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Ann “Binky” Bourgeois and husband, Aaron; son, Carl Moreno and wife, Jo Ann; daughter-in-law, Cathy Moreno; grandchildren, Josh Duffel (Laurelea), Trey Duffel, Brandon Moreno (Stefanie), Amanda Moreno Durham (Carson), Cary Moreno (Courtney), Austin Bourgeois; great-grandchildren, Adriana Duffel, Asher Duffel, Avery Duffel, Milo Knox Duffel, and Ren Moreno; mother of his children, Linda Cusimano.
His cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
