Jonathan Kyle LaSage  

Jonathan Kyle LaSage 46, of Sulphur, La passed away on, Thursday, June 3, 2021, in his residence. He was born to Ronald and Catherine LaSage in Jennings, LA on May 23, 1975.  

Jonathan worked for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Ward 4 for the last 5 years.  He enjoyed quiet times watching movies, spending time with his family and he loved his dogs, Athena, Meme and Bambi.   He was known for joking around and playing pranks on his friends and family.  His sister was the one person he enjoyed teasing and picking on the most. Although Jonathan loved to joke around, he had a special way of keeping those around him calm and easing their fears and always encouraged others to follow their dreams. Friends and family will miss his sense of humor; but his family will greatly miss the way Jonathan shared the “The word of the Lord”.

His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he loved them dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years Suzanne LaSage; his children; Kenzie Istre (Colin) of Sulphur, Quinton Kyle LaSage (Julia) of Sulphur; Jacob Kyle LaSage of Sulphur, and Balian Dale LaSage of Sulphur.  His parents; Ron LaSage Sr. and Catherine “Cat” of Carlyss, La.  His siblings Elizabeth Jones (Paul) of Sulphur; and Jamie LaSage, Jr (Jessica) of Sulphur.  His Grandchildren; Marshall Joseph Istre, Estelle Klaire Istre and Myles Joseph Istre.

He preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nelson C. and Eva LaSage; and his maternal grandparents, Percy and Rida Kibodeaux.

Funeral services to honor Jonathan’s life will be held at 1pm, Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Pastor Shawn Dugas will officiate. Visitation will be held in the funeral home 5:30pm – 9pm, Saturday and resume 10am – 1pm Sunday. Words of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.robisonfuneralhome.com.
