Joseph “Joe” Charles Miles, Jr., born in Los Angeles, CA on April 21, 1956, son of the late Joseph Charles Miles, Sr. and Delores Casteele, passed away in a local hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the age of 64.
Joe was a graduate of NLU in Monroe with a degree in Accounting. He enjoyed playing games on the computer, working puzzles, watching John Wayne movies and being with his family.
Joe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Irene K. Miles; daughter, Darlene Dedic (Sterling); Joseph Miles, III (Nancy); sister, Karen Aswell (Jeff); brother, David Casteele (Barbara) grandchildren, Nathan; Tyler; Joseph; Jacob; Dillon & Hannah. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Due to current restrictions with COVID-19, the gathering will be limited and facial coverings will be required.
