Joseph Ivy Jeannice "This All Started With Ledoux"

Iowa- Joseph Ivy Jeannice, 87, passed away in his residence June 21, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Jeannice was born in Elton on April 11, 1928 to the late Joseph Cleveland and Marie Laura Jeannice. He served in the U. S. Navy and retired after 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lila Jeannice; sons, Joseph C. Jeannice Mark Jeannice , Jeffrey Jeannice (Darlene) ; Charles Van Huss (Terry); daughters, Melody Breaux, Sherry Houston, Linda Bass (Randy), Sarah Fontenot (Ron), Jerri Clark; sister, Ella Richard; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; children, Victoria Lyn Van Huss, Sandra Falgoust; brother, Isone Janice; sisters, Joyce Warren and Alice Fontenot.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Alan Weishampel officiating. Burial will follow in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation is Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
