Joshua Layne Leake

Joshua Layne Leake, 32, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 5:33 PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in his residence.

Josh was born June 15, 1985 in Lake Charles, LA, was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff and a 2004 graduate of Sam Houston High School. He loved playing video games and enjoyed attending concerts. Josh always had a smile on his face, always happy and friendly and had a heart of gold.

Josh is survived by his mother, Wanda J. Luckett Leake of Moss Bluff; brothers, Lyndon D. Leake and wife Tiffany of Lumberton, TX and Cade Leake of Marietta, GA; sister, Kari Borden and husband Brandon of Lake Charles; grandparents, Ramona Leake and Bro. Ora Leonard Leake, Jr. of Cleveland, OK and Lois Luckett of Moss Bluff; his best friends, Adam Moore and Nicholas Smith, both of Moss Bluff; two nieces; one nephew; and numerous cousins and friends that loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Wayne Leake; and infant brother, Jared W. Leake.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Paul Estes will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
