Lake Charles – Joyce Elaine Douglas, born in Lake Charles on February 17, 1952, daughter of the late Williby and Evelyn (Bourque) Prince, passed away in her residence on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the age of 70.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and spouse, Charley Douglas, III.
Survivors are her daughter, Gwen Pickens and husband, Anthony “Tony”; brother, Carl Sackett, and sister, Sheila Williams; grandchildren, Noah & Nathan Pickens; niece, Nichole Ramirez and husband, Bennie, and their children, Kami & Savanna Amrine; nephew, Jerry Williams.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Monday in the funeral home from 10 am until the time of service at 2 p.m.
