Juan A. Hollomon, 56, passed away on January 18, 2019 after his fight with pancreatic cancer.
Juan worked for the United States Postal service for over 30 years and was a member of the American Postal Workers Union. He also served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Macedonia COGIC in Sulphur, LA. Mr. Hollomon is fondly remembered as being a loving father.
He is survived by his daughter, Sasha Bonet Hollomon; son, Juan Antonio Hollomon II; three brothers, Mario, Wesley, and Andre Hollomon; two sisters, Shawn Calhoun, and Cheryl Guillory; and three aunts, Mildred Lawson, Maggie Sylvas, and Bessie Davis.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtis Lawson; father, Dr. John W. Hollomon; aunt and uncle, Amy and James Lawson; uncle, Albert Lawson; grandparents, Melvin and Edna Lawson; uncle, Marshall Lawson, and three cousins, Edgar, Byron, and Phyllis Lawson.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 1PM on Saturday, January 26. Cremation will follow the service. Rev. Roosevelt Trapp will officiate. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10AM Saturday morning until the start of the service.
