Juanita Mae Ogea

Juanita Mae Ogea, 70, of LeBleu Settlement died at 10:05 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

 

Ms. Ogea was born on September 28, 1946 in Calcasieu Parish and was raised and lived all of her life in LeBleu Settlement where she attended Iowa High School. She worked in the oil field industry, for the state of Louisiana, and also for several floral shops including Duflo’s Florist. Ms. Ogea was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.

 

In her younger years, she liked to go camping and race car driving. She also enjoyed dancing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and Nanny.

 

Those left to cherish her memory are her life partner and caretaker, Glenn David Fontenot; a son, Francis Lyndon “Junior” Ogea, Jr. (Valerie); two brothers, Mitchell LeBleu, Jr. (Pam) and Phillip LeBleu (Rebecca); and a sister, Theresa Brown all of LeBleu Settlement. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgie and Mitchell LeBleu, Sr.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dismas Mauk will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe, LA. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
