Judith Sonnier

Judith Sonnier, 56, of Lake Charles, died Thursday May 23, 2013 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Sonnier was born December 1, 1956 in Lake Charles, LA to David and Ethel Marie DeRossier Benoit. She was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School. In 1997 she was selected as Mrs. Calcasieu Parish and in 1997 was selected Mrs. Lake Charles.

Mrs. Sonnier was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Sonnier; three sons, Brent Wayne Sonnier of Lake Charles, Shaun Michael Sonnier of Sulphur, and Michael Wayne Sonnier, II of Moss Bluff; three daughters, Hope Nicole Sonnier of Westlake, Jennifer Lynn Sonnier of LeBleu, and Ashley Ann Sonnier of Lake Charles. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Judith Ann Castete.

Mrs. Sonnier will be missed by her two dogs, Paisley and Paris.

Visitation will be Tuesday May 28, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral Home with Father Wayne LeBleu officiating.
