Judy Ann Doga

July 29, 1942 — April 2, 2017

Judy Ann Doga, 74, of Lake Charles, LA., passed away at a local hospital on April 2, 2017. She was born in 1942 to Paul and Clarice LaFargue in Kinder, LA.

Judy was the last of her six brothers and sisters. She loved to laugh and joke, even joking with the nursing staff the evening prior to her passing. She was very close to her family and really enjoyed being with them, especially for the family barbeques and the crawfish boils. Judy attended Kinder High School where she was active in sports as well as being elected as the Home Coming Queen. She enjoyed going back to Kinder to visit with family and friends and playing the slots at the casino. Judy worked for several years as a sales clerk at various retail stores.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents as well as her four brothers and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Danny Doga (Sharlene) of Lake Charles; and her three daughters, Pam Manuel (Phil) of LeBleu Settlement, Tammy Crater (Phillip) of Maplewood and Dionne Boyette (Charles) of Maplewood. She has ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Judy’s family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4PM until 9Pm at Johnson Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6PM in conjunction with the visitation. The visitation will continue from 9AM until 11AM on Wednesday followed by the funeral service at 11AM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be officiated by Deacon Leo Hebert.
