Judy Landry

Judy Verle Landry, 68, passed away on April 6, 2017 in her residence surrounded by her family and best friend. She was a resident of Westlake for 44 years. Judy retired from National Car Rental after 38 years. After retiring she worked part time for Belts Plus for another 3 years. Judy enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy is survived by her three brothers, Robert H. Landry and wife Jaunita of Plano, TX, Gerald Landry and wife Natalie “Eddie” of Hackberry, and Jeffrey Landry and wife Brenda of Pasadena, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special friend and caregiver, Cathy Hicks of Westlake. She was preceded in death by her parents, “R D” and Lorene Landry.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gerard Little officiating. Burial will be in Hackberry Community Cemetery in Hackberry under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 4-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Monday, April 10 from 11 A.M. until time of the service. The family would like to specially thank Heart of Hospice, Memorial Chemo Bay, and her former sister-in-law, Jeanette Hoffpauir for taking such great care of Judy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hackberry Cemetery Association.
