Lake Charles – Julia “Ann” Moss, 71, passed away in her residence Monday, June 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lake Charles on December 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Elray and Mildred (LeBleu) Busby. Ann worked as an administrator and as a caregiver in the medical field for many years. She enjoyed cooking, reading spending time with her granddaughter and her family, whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Banks and husband, Greg; son, Justin Moss and wife, Lacey; siblings, Linda Vidrine (Junior), Betty Vidrine (Ken), Millie Bowman (Arden), Sybil Ducat (Tony), Carolyn “Cookie” LaFleur (Tracy), Ella Milliron (Keith), Jerry Busby (Brenda) and Myles Busby; granddaughter, Alexis Moss. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert A. Moss; granddaughter, Kate Leigh Moss and brother, Gordon Busby.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.; with a funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Elsye Mae Sonnier officiating. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
