Julie Journey, born November 6, 1968, daughter of Bobby and Pamela Trahan, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by her family, at the age of 54.
Julie enjoyed spending time tending to her plants and being with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Trahan; grandparents, Rixby Trahan, Louis Alexander, and Onelia Ardoin.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Journey; mother, Pamela Trahan; daughter, Brittani Moreau and husband, Jeremy; grandmother, Irene Trahan; brother, Jeremy Trahan and wife, Bridget; grandchildren, Tralin, Eli, Brilee, and River Moreau, and her fur children, Blue, and Uggie. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services are Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Tuesday in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11a.m.
