Junius L. Penny Pennison

Penny Pennison, 94, of Lake Charles passed away at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 16, 2013 in his residence.

He was a native of Patterson, LA and lived in Lake Charles for the past 60 years. Mr. Pennison was a longtime member of Sale Street Baptist Church and served as Deacon Emeritus. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Mary Bush Pennison; one daughter, Judy A. Carnahan and husband Truman; one son, Junius L. Pennison, Jr. and wife Carrie; four grandchildren, Candice Jackson and husband Dean, Shane Carnahan and wife Bridget, Junius L. Pennison III, and Danielle Pennison; and six great grandchildren.

His funeral will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 20, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Randy Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
