Sulphur – Karen Walden Mouton, born July 28, 1951, daughter of Charlie and Johnnie Mae (Story) Walden, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the age of 69.
Karen was a graduate of Louisville High School and continued her education at Augusta Tech. She enjoyed genealogy, facebook games, reading, and taking pictures.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Walden, Sr.; sister, Debra Hobbs.
Karen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Mouton; daughter, Jenny Abshier; son, Charles Anthony “Tony” Mouton; brother, Charlie Walden; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
As per her request, cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. There will be no formal services.
