Karen Watts Nichols, 64, of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in her residence.
Karen was born on September 24, 1954 in Lake Charles where she was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and resided in the Sulphur/Lake Charles area all of her life. She managed numerous local convenient stores and was shift manager for all three local casinos, currently employed at the Golden Nugget.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Brandon Watts of Dequincy; sister, Lesley Impastato of Moss Bluff; the father of her son and her long time friend, Randy Wright of Hackberry; seven nieces and nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Watts and Mary Chambers and her twin sister, Kim Bryant.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the Johnson Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you donate to the account of Karen’s son, Brandon Watts, at the Care Center of Dequincy, 602 N. Division St., Dequincy, LA 70633, to assist in his care.
