Katherine Renee Coker, born May 29, 1953, daughter of the late William Keith and Virginia (Petoscia) Keith, passed away May 31, 2022, at the age of 69.
She loved reading, playing with grandkids, writing children’s books, and loved flowers. Katherine graduated from Dodson High School and married Randy Coker in 1982. Katherine was a homemaker and of the Jehovah Witness faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmy Hegwood; brother, Russell Keith; son-in-law, Phillip Manuel; and a grandson, Aspen Manuel.
Survivors include her children; Daniel Ponder (Jean Racine); Jacob Manuel who was like a son to the Cokers; Jacquelyn Manuel, Joycedine Fontenot (Alex Gilbert); Jennifer Keith who was like a daughter to the Cokers; brothers; William Keith (Jenny); Grayson Keith; John David Keith; Wayne Keith (Renee); sisters; Louise Bodry; Shirley Heddon; four grandchildren; Jasper Fontenot; Molly, Minka, Zoe Keith; one great grandchild; Lumi Davis; and her pet Lucy.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa and there will be no formal service.
