Kathleen Marie Bellard

Iowa – Kathleen Marie Bellard, 46, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in her home. “The Lord is my Shepherd.”
Her loving survivors are her mother, Catherine Vital Bellard; son, Brian Bellard; sister, Valerie Bellard; brothers, John Bellard, Gregory Bellard (Lenissa) and Charles Celestine, all of Iowa; God-parents, Carolyn Ramirez and Alvin Vital; host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Jaxs
on, Dacia, Tyra, Jordyn & Jailey. Kathleen is preceded in death by her father, Wilton John Bellard, Sr.; grandparents, Lee & Carrie Vital and Antoine & Omelia Bellard.
She was a 1987 graduate of Iowa High School and a great athlete. Her favorite pastimes were bingo, crossword puzzles and listening to music.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Peter Claver Catholic Church of Iowa on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Father Bennie Wego officiating. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Friday from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume in the funeral home on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
