Kathleen Margaret Boos, born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on June 17, 1971, daughter of the late Donald James and the late Margaret Mary (Fox) Boos, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at age 51.
A graduate of St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Kathleen had sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor. She was kind, funny, and adored by her friends. Mostly, she loved being a mom. She lived in Chicago, IL, Laramie, WY, and Lake Charles, where her son, Justin was born. She was employed by Pilot Travel Center. She was a gifted artist, talented crafter, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Rod Hitt; son, Justin Boos, and sister, Madeleine Boos.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. There are no formal services scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Louisiana.
