Kathleen Hyatt

Kathleen Hyatt, 68, of DeQuincy passed away on June 26, 2019 in a local care facility surrounded by her family.  Kathy was retired from DeQuincy Memorial Hospital and worked construction for 20 plus years. She loved to play bingo and to dance.   Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all.  Kathy was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 3802. 

Kathy is survived by her significant other, Carl Pierce, Jr.; her children, David Hyatt, Jr. and wife Nanci of Sulphur, Sondra Riley and husband Joe of DeQuincy, Carlton Pierce, Tina Streams and husband Kenneth of Singer and Theresa Mason and husband Mason of Crosby, Texas; her grandchildren, Dalton and Devinnie Hyatt, Jaxon, Kenner and Lexie Hyatt, Carlos, Matthew and Austin Daigle, Christian Callahan, Britta and Teigan Streams, Alexis and Jessie Mason, Justin Duhon and Andrew and Carlie Pierce; 4 great grandchildren; her sisters, Patricia Trahan, Cynthia Trahan and Barbara Dugas all of Sulphur, and Bonnie Meyers of Arkansas; and her brother, Russell Trahan of Missouri.  She was preceded on death by her husband, David Hyatt, Sr.; her parents, Russell and Anna Katherine Trahan; her sister, Christine Landry; and her brother in law, William Dugas, Sr.

Services for Kathy will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 5-8 PM with a rosary at 6 PM and will resume on Saturday from 8 AM until the time of service.
