Kathleen Susan Coffman

Susan Ayres Coffman, 68, of Ragley passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in her residence. Mrs. Coffman was born on February 12, 1947 in Lake Charles, LA and was a 1965 graduate of Sulphur High School. In 1968 she graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital X Ray School in Beaumont, TX. Mrs. Coffman was a registered Vascular Technician Diagnostic Medical Sonographer having worked at several hospitals in the Lake Charles area from 1968 until retiring in 2007. She enjoyed spending time fishing and traveling. She also loved riding her four-wheeler with her Australian Shepherd, Molly. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Norman L. Coffman, Jr. of Ragley; a daughter, Lela Gail Laird and husband Jim of Houston, TX; a step son, Michael Medley and wife Nina and a step daughter, Michelle Boone and husband Shane all of San Antonio; and six grandchildren. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A gathering will be held at a later date.
