Iowa – Kathrine Weibel Aymond, 59, born in Port Arthur, TX on April 24, 1963, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary “Jo” Zenos Broussard, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the age of 59.
Kathy was a graduate of Dulles High School and was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed watching gameshows and her favorite sitcom “Friends”. Kathy worked at Nordstrom for 17 years in sales for the shoe department, and as manager for the Kitchen Collection. As evidence by the type of work she did, Kathy loved being with people and was always willing to help.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Aymond; son, Jaron Aymond of Iowa, LA; daughters, Emilyn Aymond of Dallas, TX, Isabella Westbrook of Lockeford, CA; brothers, Kemon (Trudy) Broussard of Dallas, David (Nikki) Broussard of Austin, TX; sister, Maria (Roger) Kamrowski of Trempealeau, WI; grandchildren, Tera and Asher Aymond; grand-niece, Sarah Rose Kamrowski; pets, Astro and Milly; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Daniel Broussard, jr.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home ~ Iowa. Cremation was under the direction of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. Visitation begins Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
