Kathryn Ellen Porter

Kathryn Ellen Porter, 71, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at a local health care facility.

Kathryn was a graduate of La Grange High School and went on to graduate from McNeese State University with a Masters in Education.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Roy and Elian Stout Porter; daughter, Jeslynn R. Broussard.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Marie Broussard of Lake Charles, LA; 1 grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bryce and Krystal Yates Chapman of Clarksville, Tn; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Pat Porter of San Antonio; 2 great grandchildren, Brody and Audrey Chapman.

Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 5 PM from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Estes officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 3 PM till time of service.
