Kathryn Lowe

Kathryn Louise Lowe, 76, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was born on July 22, 1949, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Nolan and Sadie Louise Easley.

Kathryn was a Louisiana girl through and through. She was known for her quiet strength and her unwavering love for those she held dear. She was a devoted mother whose children were the pride and joy of her life. Kathryn faced life with grace, even in its hardest seasons, and her courage and perseverance were an inspiration to those who knew her.

Kathryn will be remembered for her loving spirit, her gentle heart, and the way she made others feel cared for and seen. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Trey Lowe (Kelly Lowe), Tammy Hardey (Jared Hardey); her cherished grandchildren, Emily Erickson (husband Dayton), Connor Lowe (wife Lexi), Ian Hardey, Evan Hardey, and Beau Hardey; and her great-grandchild, Bennett, who is expected and already deeply loved. Her siblings Sue Ann Miller and Nola "Tootie" McDonald and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Sadie Louise Easley.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Memorial services will be held on January 3rd, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Westlake. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 AM until the start of the service at 10:00 AM.
