Kathryn Marcelle Laudumiey

One of God's very special children, Kathryn Marcelle Laudumiey, 49, of Lake Charles, LA died at Harbor Hospice on Friday, June 26, 2015. Kathryn is survived by her loving family; mother and step-father, Myrna and Joe Donnelly of Lake Charles, LA; Half sisters, Dian Darr of Washington, NC, and Lisa and husband Jeff Ferguson of Lake Charles, LA, and Sheila and husband Gary Joyner of Zachary, LA. She will be missed by her nephew Nash Joyner and her nieces Maggie Joyner and Drew Ferguson. She is also survived by her step sister Dorceline and husband Robert Brantley, and her uncle and aunt Bob and Lana Davidson of Sulphur, LA; her cousins, Todd Davidson and Cary Tassin. Kathryn is preceded in death by her father, Marcel A. Laudumiey; her paternal grandparents, Eucharist and Raoul Laudumiey; maternal grandparents, Vera and Willie Davidson of Sulphur, LA. For the last 10 years Kathryn lived at the Orleans Street group home under, the love and guidance of Evergreen Life Services, and the wonderful women who took great care of her and loved her so much. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady Good Counsel Church at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Scripture Service being held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Cremation will follow services. Father Nathan Long and Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate services.
