Kathy Fisher

Kathy Marie Fisher, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on December 24, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, Kathy made her home in Sulphur, Louisiana, where she embraced life and the community around her with open arms.

Kathy was known for her contagious laughter, love for family, and unwavering spirit. She had a passion for bowling, and was a regular at bingo nights, where she found joy and camaraderie with friends. One of her greatest joys was cheering on her sister, Mary, and her daughter, Rebecca, at the Special Olympics, always a proud supporter of their accomplishments. Kathy also enjoyed the thrill of visiting casinos with family and friends, where the stakes were high, and the company was even better. Her weekends were spent rooted in her true love for football, passionately supporting her teams-the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.

Kathy is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca Fisher, and her sisters, Melissa Fisher, Mary Fisher, and Pat LeBert, along with her brothers, Robert Fisher and Paul Fisher. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Kathy is preceded in death by her cherished parents, William "Bill" and Joyce Fisher, her sister, Melinda Fisher, and her grandparents, Ellis and Alita Ellender.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Harbor Hospice and Holly Hill Nursing Home for their compassionate care. A special recognition goes to Loretta H. at Holly Hill, Kathy's friend and bingo partner.

A memorial visitation will be held on November 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home in Sulphur, where friends and family will gather to share stories, celebrate Kathy's life, and reflect on the beautiful memories they created together. There will be a gathering at Hollier’s Cajun Kitchen in Kathy’s honor at 2 PM.

As we remember Kathy, may we find comfort in knowing that she brought light and love to our lives. Forever in our hearts, we will carry her memory with us.
