Kathy Jean Broussard

Kathy Jean Broussard, 55, passed away in the comfort of her own home on May 7, 2018.

Mrs. Broussard was a loving mother that enjoyed cooking for her family. She had both Southern and Cajun influences from her mother and mother-in-law that made for her memorable meals. She was a Den Mother in the Boy Scouts while raising her sons and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and her family fondly remembers the family vacations. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing with her husband and taking a good nap. She was known for her soft heart that showed in her love for animals.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robin Broussard; two sons, Blake E. Broussard and his wife Rachel, and Dillan J. Broussard; father, Carol Sheffield; two step-sisters, Jenny Sheffield and Renee Lee; and step-brother, Johnny Sheffield.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Sheffield; and sister, Patricia Labove.
