Kathy Shamburger

Kathy Marie Shamburger, 75, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.

Kathy had a passion for gardening, finding joy among her flowers. She thrived in the company of friends, and was known for her vibrant spirit.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Lister (Allen) and Monica Babineaux (Ted); three grandchildren, Andrew Shamburger, Audrey Harris, and Grant Harris; two beloved sisters, Julia Billedeaux and Becky Phall; and her dear friend and "soul sister," Marie "Chi Chi" Hantz.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Curley Phall and Serina (Duhon) Phall and her sister Melinda Langley.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Kathy's life on June 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
