Keith Hamilton

February 5, 1957 — October 3, 2016

Keith “Hambone” Hamilton, 59, of Westlake, LA lovingly went into the arms of his father on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:30 PM in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family.

 

Mr. Hamilton was born on February 5, 1957 in San Diego, CA to Sylvia Peshoff Hamilton and John Hamilton Sr. He is a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. Keith was a scaffold builder by trade, a job he was very good at. He worked for Turner Industries for approximately 32 years, where he was known by many friends, as Hambone. He enjoyed fishing, being outside, working with his hands and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his favorite things was bringing Jack-Jack to the rodeo.

 

In his last years on earth, Mr. Hamilton grew a beautiful relationship with The Lord and was a proud member of First Apostolic Church of Moss Bluff, where he was willingly pastored by Rev. Jon Hair Jr. Church was his favorite place to be.

 

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna; one daughter, Kandice and Henry III Ange; four sons, Kacey and Brittany LeBleu, Kaleb and Iramis LeBleu, Devin LeBleu and Cody Self; two brothers, Scott and Diane Hamilton and Karl Hamilton; also a special Aunt and uncle Warren and Lou Chapman; and most importantly the loves of his life his grandchildren, Madisyn, Tristen, Gracie, Jaxon, Emmalee, and Ava. He is also survived by his loving church family.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Leo and Leta Peshoff; paternal grandparents, Charles C. and Hettie Hamilton and his oldest brother John “Dub” Hamilton Jr.

 

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for the compassionate and faithful care of our husband and dad.

 

“Brethren I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 3:13-14.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2016 at First Apostolic Church of Moss Bluff. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at First Apostolic Church. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until time of service on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Church. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Hair will officiate services.
