Kelly Marie Conner

Kelly Marie Conner, 31, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 6:05 AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in her residence.

Kelly was born August 12, 1985 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a life-long resident. She graduated from Victory Baptist Academy and Sowela Technical School with her degree as a CNA. She worked at Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, and in home health. Kelly was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a very outgoing individual, who loved the people, especially her son, fiancé, and grandparents.

Kelly is survived by her son, Ethan Joel Conner; parents, Stephen Conner, Jr. and Jackie Conner of Lake Charles; brother, Brandon Conner of Lake Charles; fiancé, Michael Lee Deckert of Silsbee, TX; grandparents, Allen and Shirley Rogers of Lake Charles; nephew, Jaxson Conner; and numerous friends and family members that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Carolyn Conner.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Wayne Dartez will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
