Kenneth Duhon, 66, of Moss Bluff passed away surrounded by the love of his family on April 7, 2026.
Born on November 20, 1959, in Crowley, Louisiana, Kenneth was the son of Louvie Junius Duhon and Oliva Mary Primeaux Evans.
Kenneth was a man whose passion in life was family and hunting. His absolute favorite place to be was in the woods. Each year, he looked forward to his annual hunting trips to Missouri with his father-in-law, brother-in-law, and two sons Kevin and Tommie. All Together in Missouri, they were proudly known as the "Bayou Boys". One of the highlights of this past year was being able to take one last deer on his hunting lease, Black Creek Hunting Club, where he spent most of his time.
A damn good cook, Kenneth had a true love for Cajun food. He was praised by many for making his large butter bean dish. He especially enjoyed preparing meals that he had seen on Tik Tok, even though they usually didn't work out.
Kenneth was often found watching his favorite Westerns, especially those starring John Wayne. He was also known to be an "armchair coach" when it came to football, cheering on the Saints and college teams.
Though a quiet man by nature, Kenneth had a great sense of humor and knew just when to start "cutting up". He was deeply devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved spending time with whenever he could. Above all, Kenneth was a selfless man who cared deeply for others. He showed that love through his actions, especially in the care he gave to everyone over the years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 37 years, Belinda Duhon; his children, Victoria Duhon, Tommie Wright and wife Dee Dee, and Kevin Wright; his mother, Oliva Evans; his four grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren, one beloved granddog, Trixie; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Dymphna McDowell and husband Regan, and Nita Duhon, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louvie Junius Duhon; his stepfather, Jerry Evans Sr.; his brothers, Chester Duhon and Brian Duhon; his mother-in-law, Patsy LaBove; his sister-in-law, Teri LaBove; and his niece, Alexis McDowell.
A funeral service for Kenneth will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, with burial to follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
