Kenneth G. Boos, Sr.

Kenneth G. Boos, Sr., 74, of Lake Charles passed away at 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2011 in a local hospital.

He was a native of New Orleans and lived in Lake Charles over forty-eight years. Mr. Boos was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was Deputy for the Calcasieu Parish Sherriff's Department. Mr. Boos served our country as a Veteran of the U. S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin A. Boos and wife Darlene of Lake Charles, Kenny G. Boos, Jr., and wife Dana of Metairie; one daughter, Denise E. Boos and husband Laird of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren; one brother, J. L. Boos, Jr. and wife Barbara, and one sister, Aurelie Clark.

His funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday November 8, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM and continue from 9:00 AM until time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.
