Kenneth Lowry

Kenneth Harry Lowry, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 15, 1960, in Kinder, Louisiana, to Evelyn and Cecil Lowry.

Kenneth was a skilled carpenter and a longtime member of Life Point Pentecostal Church, where he served faithfully for 34 years. He played bass guitar during services and found great joy in worship. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed bass fishing at his camp on Toledo Bend. He was also an accomplished bowler, proudly earning three 300 rings over the years.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Toby Lynne Young Lowry; his daughter, Courtney Lynne Lowry; brothers, Earl Lowry and wife Jeannette, Terry Lowry and wife Debbie, and Leon Lowry; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Dianne Lowry, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Interment will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
