Kenneth Teal

Kenneth Joseph Teal, born on May 29, 1958, in Jennings, Louisiana, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He lived a life full of passion for the things he loved, leaving behind a legacy of joy and warmth. A cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Kenneth is survived by his beloved son, Mark Teal, and daughter, Julia Teal. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Katie, Alairria, Brance, Kendra, Gracie, Elliana, and Dawson, as well as his great-grandchildren, Blaine, Charlotte, Braylon, and Ambrose. Kenneth also leaves behind his sisters, Margret and Gloria Teal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvie and Nelson Teal; his siblings, Jerry, Alfred, Edward, Darlene, and Gerald; and his grandson, Brandon. Kenneth was a skilled mechanic, known for his dedication to his craft in the automotive industry. He cherished his time in nature, relishing moments spent duck hunting, feeding birds, and creating beautiful birdhouses. His green thumb shone through in his passion for growing plants, reflecting his love for the outdoors and life.

A memorial service will be held to honor Kenneth's life at 12 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. The family will welcome guests from 10 AM to 12 PM that day. Kenneth will be missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
