Iowa – Kevin Wayne Lopez, born December 30, 1976, son of Rodney Joseph and Brenda Gail (Guidry) Lopez, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 in his residence at the age of 41.
Kevin was a graduate of Lacassine High and member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed making sausage, fishing, hunting, and working with his dad on their farm. Kevin was a volunteer for the Lacassine Fire Department.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Rodney & Brenda Lopez; sister, Karen Gail Lopez; nephew, Elliot LaFleur; numerous aunts & uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
