Kristen Degraw Marsceill

Kristen passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her New Orleans home on Sunday night, November 10, 2019. She was an "oh so special" daughter, sister, wife, and friend that was taken way too soon. She was a Hurricane Katrina survivor.  Kristen loved all animals, music, gardening, and her "home" town of New Orleans. She was born in Lovell, Wyoming. She attended 2 National Spelling Bees in Washington D.C., numerous pageants, and attended LA School of Math, Science & the Arts.

She is survived by her mother Mary DeGraw Scimemi and little sister Nikki DeGraw from Lake Charles, LA, her ex-husband of 12 years Christopher Marsceill from Philadelphia, PA, her partner Kyle Carter of New Orleans and many aunts, uncles, and friends from around the country. She will be greatly missed.
