Kyle Washington

Kyle Alan Washington, 63, of Lake Charles, LA, went to be in the arms of his heavenly father on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Kyle was born April 16, 1958 in Shreveport, LA.  He was a beloved father, son, husband, brother, and friend who loved life and loved people.  He was the procurer of a good time and enjoyed telling stories.

Kyle is survived by his daughters, Brittany Elmer and husband Joe of Gillis, Lakeyn Washington Jennings and husband John of Calpine, CA, and Quinn Washington of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Scott Howard Washington and wife Cindy of Lake Charles; sister, Melinda Washington Pratt of Austin, TX; mother of his children, Terri Ross Washington of Honolulu, HI; and grandchildren, Lane, Ashton, and Joseph Elmer, Sadie Pharr, and Jack Jennings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Charles and Virginia Washington; and brother, Starrett Washington.

A life remembrance service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Lake City Baptist Church.  Brittany Elmer, his daughter, will lead the service.  His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  A gathering of family and friends will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
