Lance Bryce Broussard, 44, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 of an apparent heart attack in his home with his wife by his side. Lance was a loving husband and father who loved life. He never met a stranger. Lance was a 1989 graduate of Sulphur High School and attended Sowela for two years. Lance was employed with Mistras as a refinery inspector. He was an avid duck hunter, guitar player and loved to fish. Through organ donation Lance was able to give the gift of life. Those left to cherish Lance's memory are his wife of 18 years, Kim Fischer Broussard; his two sons, Jordan and Cameron Broussard; his mom, Susan Broussard; his siblings, Donnie Broussard and wife Judy, Charles Broussard, Gary Parish and wife Darlene and Debbie Haymark and husband Joe; and other extended family. Lance was preceded in death by his dad, B. Roy Broussard and two brothers, Burley and Robert Glenn Broussard. Services for Lance will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 2 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 3-9 pm with a scripture service at 6 pm and will resume on Sunday from 9 am until the time of service.
