Lance Lane Chiasson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lance L. Chiasson who died on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the age of 55.

Born on November 4, 1970 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Lance was a master electrician who dedicated many years to his trade and took pride in the work he accomplished.

Lance enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Whether tending his garden or casting a line, he found comfort in nature and appreciated its quiet simplicity.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Chiasson of Lake Charles; his brother, Randy Chiasson and his wife, Stephanie, of Simi Valley, California; his sister, Missy McGee and her husband, Mitch McGee, of Kountze, Texas; his nieces, Shalay Chiasson, Meagan McGee, and Alexa Chiasson. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Chiasson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Grand Lake Community Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Family and friends are invited to attend.
