LeBleu Settlement~ Larry Gregory Fontenot, Sr., born in Lake Charles on June 16, 1962, son of the late Joseph Cursey and Mary Alice (Janice) Fontenot, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the age of 58.
Larry attended Grace Harbor Lighthouse Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Patricia Johnson Fontenot.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry Gregory Fontenot, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Nicole Vines; brothers, Frank James Fontenot (Vickey), Joseph Cursey Fontenot, Jr.(Cindy); sisters, Louella Fontenot Duplechain, Agnes Camey Fontenot Breaux, Beverly Ann Fontenot, Bertha Marie Martinez (Tommy); companion, Kathleen Jane Manuel; 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Bro. Charles Manuel, Officiant. Private Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery of Simpson. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
