Larry Wayne Smith, Sr.
Iowa-Larry Wayne Smith, Sr., 54, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015.
Larry was born February 15, 1960 to the late Sylven and Mary Linda Moreaux. He was employed as a welder and loved fishing, cooking, and mechanic work. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
His survivors include his wife of 18 ½ years, Laura Garmely Smith; son, Larry Wayne Smith, Jr.,; siblings, Robert Lee “Bobby” Smith, Jr. (Esther), Peggy Arceneaux (Steve), Sheila Droddy, Sandra Rahmaty (Mazyar); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his god mother & god children; grandchildren, Kirsten, Della and Samuel Smith and one on the way, Zayden.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses.
