Laura Adams

Laura M. Adams, 62 of Sulphur, La., passed away September 29, 2024, with family by her side in a local hospital. Laura was born on June 10, 1962, in New Orleans, La., to the late Adam and Wenona Matthews.

Laura was very family oriented and cherished every moment spent with her family. She was known for her hospitality, she enjoyed being creative with her cooking and sharing a meal with friends and family. Laura accepted everyone for who they were and never judged anyone, she just showed them love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two children, Saul and Lynn Adams, and Timmy Adams, Jr.; three grandchildren, Christy Franks, Bradley Franks and Autumn Adams; siblings, Nona Bumgarden, Lisa Petite and Alex Matthews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Wenona Matthews.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1 P.M. with visitation beginning at 10 until time of the service. Cremation will follow and has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
