Laura Kaylean Stine

Laura Kaylean Stine, 75, of Hackberry passed away on February 19, 2017 in her residence. She enjoyed showing dog, her gardens, and fishing.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Tonya Beard Stine; her faithful companion of 17 years, Jerry Karonika of Hackberry; her brother, Gene Steele and wife Jean of Sulphur; her sister, Pattie and husband Robert Young of Indiana; 1 grandchild, Jordon and wife Erica Stine of Lake Charles; and 3 great-grandchildren, Tristen Stine, Skylar Gragg, and Dason Stine; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  All who knew her called her “Nanny”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nellie Prater Steele; and 2 brothers, Joseph and Jerry Moran.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
