Lauren Marie Leblanc

Lauren Marie LeBlanc, 17, of DeQuincy passed away on February 21, 2016. Lauren was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in DeQuincy enjoying the youth ministry group. She attended DeQuincy School since elementary and was a senior this year making plans for her graduation. Lauren played volleyball since middle school and made DeQuincy High Volleyball Sweetheart for 2015/2016 school year. She also enjoyed gymnastics in her younger days winning a medal.

Lauren is survived by her mother, Shari LeBlanc Allen and husband Billy Joe  of DeQuincy; her father, Bo “Lawrence” Clark, Jr. and wife Joycelyn of Sulphur; her siblings, Garrett Blake Allen, William Wesley Allen and Harley Wayne Allen all of DeQuincy; Audrey Lena Clark of Sulphur, Courtney Danielle Lilley and husband Wade of Woodville, TX, Kallie Lynn Smith of Sulphur and Dakota Dale Smith of Sulphur; her maternal grandmothers, June Fontenot Moss of Hackberry and Ruby Idell Allen of  DeQuincy; her paternal grandparents, Lawrence Edward Clark, Sr. and wife Dolores of Sulphur, Brenda and Jesse James of Sulphur, and Charlotte Tassin of Sulphur; her aunts and uncles, Susan and Richard Meaux of Hackberry, Dorothy LeBlanc and fiancé Gary Primeaux of Lake Charles, Nancy Lau and husband Chi-Yun of Boston,MA, Mark and Gwen Clark of Sulphur, Sandy Alexander of Sulphur, Terri Boudreaux of Sulphur, Todd and Amanda Boudreaux of Sulphur, Andre and Keith Doucet of Covington, and Jason and Tabetha Peck of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Aultman officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 3-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 8 A.M. at the funeral home until time of the service.
