Lauren Paula Menard Boyd

Lauren Paula Menard Boyd, 70, of Sulphur, LA, died at 4:23 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Boyd was born May 12, 1949 in Alameda, CA and was a graduate of DeQuincy High School.  During her younger years, she worked as a waitress for Steamboat Bills and later as a caregiver for the elderly.  She had a love for Bingo, cats, and especially her family.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Homer Boyd; sons, David Foreman of Sulphur and Daniel Foreman and wife Debbie of Lake Charles; sisters, Bonnie Walker (Chip) of Ragley and Betty Michot of Rayne; brother, Frank Stockstill of Basile; and one grandchild, Madeline Foreman of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ellen Menard; and sister, Karen Courville; and brother, Lawrence Menard.

A gathering of family members and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
