Lawrence Gordon Barbie

Lawrence Gordon Barbie, 63, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 9:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Mr. Barbie was born August 13, 1951 and was a graduate of Westlake High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was currently working at St. Margaret Catholic School. Mr. Barbie is survived by his sons, Andrew Gordon Barbie and Donald Scott Barbie, both of Lake Charles; sisters, Money Daggett and husband Richard and Penny Rosie; and brother, Danny Barbie and wife Vonda. His memorial mass will be at 4:30 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Bill Miller will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Margaret Catholic Church or St. Margaret Catholic School.
