Leah Ann Trahan

Leah Ann Trahan, 63, of Vinton, passed away on October 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Leah loved her family, children and grandchildren. She served and loved all who God sent her way. Her heart and passion was to love the lost, broken, sick and needy. Leah moved to Florida to further her education where she graduated with an associates degree as a medical assistant. She practiced her degree and served the surrounding area at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

Leah is survived by her children, Joshua Moore and wife, Christen, Corissa Baker and husband Mark, and Jeremiah Moore; her mother, Catherine Ann Trahan; her sister, Veronica Lynn Fontenot and husband, Nathan; her brother, Irvin Joseph Trahan, Jr. and wife, Laura; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Keegan, Brylynn, Skyler, Addison, Kylynn, Keithlynn, Oaklynn, MJ, and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Joseph Trahan, Sr., Lisa Trahan, Shana Trahan, and Hannah Choate.

Services for Leah will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 1 PM, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will follow at Niblett’s Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of service.

The family would like to thank Veronica and Nathan Fontenot for all their selfless and sacrificial love, care, and generosity as the caregivers for Leah. Also, thank you to Heart of Hospice and Misty as she gave good care and support to the family.
